There will be a gathering on Sunday Dec 20th @ 2:00 pm.  This will give everyone a chance to share stories, pictures, and discuss
if we would like to continue with this next year or even expand to other things - we would definitely like your input and suggestions.  
We are not sure where we are going to have it yet, but you will be contacted and given the time and location.  so make sure to give
your phone number.  (if you have any questions about the rules & regulations you can contact Tony Bishop @ 417-732-4143).  
Friends & Family are welcome to come to the gathering.

(Payback is dependant on the number of entries.  We must recieve at least 15 entries in order for this to work, see rules for details.)

Rules & Regulations
  1. All deer taken must be in accordance with all conservation rules and regulations.
  2. If you harvest a deer that you wish to enter in the contest you must contact Tony Bishop @ 417-732-4143 and the deer must
    be verified with your tag and conservation tag - you will need to call within 1 (one) week with approximate size and number of
    points and have the deer verified within 2 (two) weeks from being shot.
  3. You may Submit as many deer as the conservation laws allow but only the biggest will count as your entry in the contest. (to
    prevent someone from receiving multiple rankings).
  4. The deer must be killed and tagged by the person who has entered the drawing.
  5. The following methods apply: Bow, Gun, & Muzzle Loader, (ROAD KILLS IS NOT A METHOD).
  6. All deer will be scored using the Boone & Crocket system - highest gross score will win.  The top 5 deer will be scored by two
    different people. An average of the two scores will be the final score.  No exceptions.  If a tie should occur, all ties will be
    broken with a coin toss.
  7. Start date for the 2005-2006 season is October 1st, This includes 1st bow season, rifle season & muzzle loader season.
  8. No cash will be given, only prizes and gift certificates.  If we do receive enough entries to pay out Grand prize then the whole
    amount received from the entries will be given to 1st place. Payout of 2nd & 3rd place depends on the number of entries and
    the prize amounts will reflect each ranking accordingly.
  9. If deer has already been taken to a taxidermist the $300 will go towards the rest of the mount and anything left over will be
    reimbursed to the winner (only with paid receipt).
  10. NO REFUNDS.
